Well, I am SO bogged with ren fair stuff, I'm doubtful I'll get the testing position. They probably need a full timer to jump on board. I can only realistically pull off a couple days a week with ren fair going on, so they may turn me down...but it's a valid excuse since I already made the ren fair commitment (I can't do that to the ren fair lady, she's helped and still is helping me loads...plus it pays better). Game testing doesn't pay well, but it doesn't pay awful. It's basically the starter job of a game industry career that almost anyone who can play games can do, so I'm anxious to get my foot in the door. I'm hoping if I can't get in now, maybe I can at some point after the fair. I've been in touch with them for a couple years...and any other two months I would have jumped on for full time, they couldn't have contacted me at a worse time, lol.

I'm actually hoping to come out to England this summer using my ren fair spoils . I'd say there's a pretty big chance. My friend in question DOES really want to see me, but there's some complications so I don't have a 100% greenlight just yet, I'm waiting on an answer. I have filled out my passport papers though, and need to pay for the passport so it can get processing...I probably will pay for it next month if my "bloke" gives me the okay (he's a friend, who's of interest (mutual), he's not "mine" and I'm not his...we're bets buds ). The visit will be of a friendly nature if it happens this summer I think. We're kicking around some options, I think it's likely I'll make it out there though . I told him I didn't wanna have to wait another year...so we're trying to work around some stuff so it can happen sooner than later when life might get in the way and trap me from doing a big trip.

If you're comfortable I could probably see you when I'm running around with him (he'll be showing me around places), just depends on if you'd both be alright with that, and if we make it to London if I come out (probably will, but I don't wanna make any promises until things are more concrete...I'd also like to see my buddy Pete, and he's somewhere in London too). Lots of "ifs" I know, but sounds like there's a good chance of me coming out. I know he's taking me to Wales if I come out, which I'm REALLY looking forward to...would be amazing to see some castles!!! Nothing like that out here!! I'm dying to see the UK, and TRAVEL in general...I love traveling, but have only been around the states a bit. It would be awesome to meet you and my other buddies! Kinda funny...I have a handful of British dude friends all from Deviant Art, lol.
